IC-705 RADIO CAGE

I could not believe how beautifully machined this cage is. The finish is flawless, and I love getting a note and a thank you from the whole crew at Peovi. The engineering of this cage is so superior to Windcamp's ARK, not even a contest. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made in Amateur Radio. Thank you Scott for putting together such a great product.

This is quality cage for the 705. If you're looking for some fine American craftsmanship , this is it!

I live in Queensland Australia and ordered the "Orange" Peovi carry cage and accessories from Scott and Chloe at Peovi Mounts to house my new Icom IC-705 transceiver. The cage arrived extremely fast here in Australia via Airfreight - actually faster than expected !

Well - what a glorious surprise indeed !

The quality and engineering behind this project ls beyond belief. It's Rolls Royce quality and worth every cent !

I have just received the IC-705 transceiver on 29th October 2025 and have installed the cage. It certainly hasn't disappointed !

I highly recommend Scott and Chloe at Peovi Mounts for bringing to the ham market a product that goes beyond my expectations !

Not only is this cage well built and functional with the handle, it looks great as well.

Feels good, easy to install.

I have had the bottom phillips head screws loosen up a bit after shoving the radio into a tight fitting bag with the front cover also attached. I wonder whether I just didn’t tighten them adequately, or if I should add some loc tight, or if this is just to be expected.

Hard to over state the build quality, and the radio is now much easier to hold / carry. Not that it was exactly hard before, but the shape didn’t give much to hold onto.
