Well engineered bit of kit for the IC-705. Fits well. And really looks good on the radio. Only odd thing is that the call sign printing appears to be on the reverse side of the handle or I’ve assembled it incorrectly. Ie it’s facing the radio rear.
Design, fit and finish are exceptional. Great protection without losing the 1/4-20 tripod hole. The clear screen cover is unique and superb for keeping “stuff” off of it. I was able to create a perfect snap on fit using half of the tiny shims provided with the kit. I love the red finish and find its anodized finish is sealed nicely and properly. My call sign engraved on the handle is a classy touch too! Thanks Scott and Chloe! 🥰
