IC-705 RADIO CAGE

Feels good, easy to install.

I have had the bottom phillips head screws loosen up a bit after shoving the radio into a tight fitting bag with the front cover also attached. I wonder whether I just didn’t tighten them adequately, or if I should add some loc tight, or if this is just to be expected.

Hard to over state the build quality, and the radio is now much easier to hold / carry. Not that it was exactly hard before, but the shape didn’t give much to hold onto.

This IC-705 cage from Peovi is the perfect fit. I think every 705 owner should invest in this for the peace of mind knowing it will protect the radio. It is well worth it. Thank You, Peovi KF0UTI. 73

This unit truly impressed me with its rugged design and intuitive build. Assembly took just 7–8 minutes, and it only required a quick glance at the parts list to confirm I was putting together both the front cage and the back wrap correctly. Maybe slightly better assembly instructions (short screws, long screws i.e.)

Very well made and solid. My only suggestion would be to have the screws for the carry handle be the same length as the ones for the side handle. This will be helpful for those using the PA500 amp and frame.
